  This milestone covers porting the existing functionality to the eclipse tools platform http://eclipse.org with eclipse oriented enhancements inlcuding:

  • projects, with a new CIM project nature and defined structure
  • file import wizards
  • automatic build of derived resources (such as XSD's)
  • background parsing and caching of the CIM and other models
  • profile editor with outline view
  • merged model view synchronised to profile outline
  • xsd and other editors synchronised on save of profile

  This milestone includes

  • a message definition editor
    • create and edit abstract message definitions in OWL form
    • convert abstract message definitions to each desired XML schema form
  • additional XMI input formats (to support more UML editors)
  • implement the current WG14 message syntax
  • provide message instance validation
